Marathon Mountain Bike approached me for a third time to design their kit for the upcoming 2018/19 season. Being a small team they have many small and mid weight sponsors that have to be displayed as such, which means visibility is a key aspect of the design brief. Colour wise I was limited to the traditional dark and light blue with accents of white. But the client is open to other colour interpretations and the only true stipulation was perhaps 'bars' this year. It would be printed by a new company, Champion Systems so effort was put into colour matching as close as possible.
